The house and the surroundings are amazing, just as shown in the pictures. It is directly by the trail, a short walk (10min) to the beach, a short (5min) drive or long walk to the recreation center with a picturesque pool (which Deldi provides you with a guest pass for), and surprisingly only a short drive (7min) from well-stocked supermarkets (though while in the house you feel like being far from any town). We spend two wonderful days there, walking the bluff trails, swimming in the pool, going to the beach (quite windy on that day), and having cozy dinners in the open kitchen/dining/living space with amazing views. Communication with Deldi was smooth, and she even provided us with our guest passes early so that we could visit the swimming pool before checking into the house. One minor note if you visit the house with children: not all electrical outlets are baby proof (not that we expected it), so bringing along some outlet covers might be useful. All in all, we would love to stay in the Heron House again!
